The beta edition of Linux Mint 18 'Sarah' made its debut this week, and a final release won't be right tooshie. Here's a look at what's future day to this common self-governing and open-beginning OS.

Linux Mint 18 introduces a new set of default apps known as X-Apps, designed to carry across GTK background environments. The idea is to give Mint's desktop environments a consistent set of core applications. Shown here is Xviewer, the new default prototype viewer based on Eye of GNOME.
